SHARPIE Slam: A LIVE Art Battle!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Sharpie Slam is a high-energy, live art battle and the premier social event for Digital Atlanta, a week-long series of technology-focused events. In its second year, Sharpie Slam is expanding to incorporate five teams of Atlanta’s finest artists. Teams will be given 65 minutes to turn a white 8x8-foot board into a work of art that visually portrays the night's theme, which will not be unveiled until the night of the event. Each team will be armed with Sharpie Permanent Markers® of various colors and sizes. At the end of the night, the audience will help determine the winning team by casting their vote. The winning team will be awarded a GRAND PRIZE of $500. This year, there will also be an opportunity for event goers to show off their own artistic skills with Sharpie and Ink It Pink™ to support Breast Cancer research, treatment and education.

While it is preferred that you have a Digital Atlanta badge, it is not required to attend this event. We have plenty of room for your friends and co-workers, but Sharpie Slam will be first-come, first-serve. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the art battle will begin at 7:30pm. Bring an ID if you plan to drink!
